I recently purchased a sound tender that interfaces with my 2-4-0 LGB Coca-Cola engine. I’m running four small tank cars to complete the consist.
These are a pair of model power N scale signals that have been wired to infrared detectors along the track to detect oncoming trains and a blinker circuit to flash the signals. There is also a sound module for realistic sound effects.
