Thompson River Canyon is an N scale layout that highlights the rugged mountain regions the Canadian National trains pass through. Filmed at the 2009 Caulfield AMRA exhibition. This layout was owned and constructed by Rod Warren and Vic Fitzpatrick, with John Colliver and Noel Purdey offering assistance with the layout wiring. Rod Warren had his home layout “Santa Fe on the plains in N scale” featured in the October 2009 issue of Model Railroader magazine.
I put my pocket size digital camera on a 4 wheel truck set and let my small 2-4-0 loco push it around my layout. Once more around the park, please.
My Uncle Miltons’ brother Bill’s awesome model railroadset.
Part 5 thru 6 are video previous to part 1 thru 4. Again it shows my 4 AC6000’s being tested on my uncles layout. There were some changing made since the newer videos. The big incline turn what I was testing was changed from Styrofoam to wood due to elevation problems. My Uncle nearly destroyed his new MTH SD70ACE because of the elevation issues. Changing the incline to wood helped smooth out the grade up to the topside level of the layout.
